Abraaj has denied it misused the funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Regulators in Ghana and South Africa on planned \u201ctakeover\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sources say even though the\n takeover talks have gone far, it is yet to secure the necessary \nregulatory approval from the regulators in Ghana and South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>GHL Bank and its universal banking status<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GHL Bank in June announced that it has secured a license  from Bank of Ghana to operate as a Universal Bank.
