Many people do not know that they can  get compensated if injured while playing the sport. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a contract sports player \nunderstanding liability should be a personal responsibility. This is \nbecause it\u2019s the duty of the coach to make sure that the player and the \nplaying environment is safe. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sports are recreational activities \nbut they carry a degree of risk to the body and this depends on the kind\n of sport which one is engaging in. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are some of the things which you need to know about sports liability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Assumption of risk<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>One thing that you need to understand\n in contract sport is that when you sign a contract you assume a certain\n level of risk. This is because most sport involves physical contact and\n injuries are common. This means that you cannot go suing for every \nscrape or bruise that you get. The important thing that you will need to\n understand is the level of risk which lies on you. The only time you \ncan use is when you can be able to prove that the injury was \nintentionally caused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li> Liability Waiver<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In most contact sport, many \norganization will require the participant to sign a document where they \nwaiver their liability. This must show willing participation and any \ninjury which is caused by normal sports interaction is thus the \nparticipant responsibility. This means that they have to cater for their\n medical bills. However, in liability waiver, it does not cover issues \nlike injuries caused by poor playing condition or an intentional injury \ncaused by an opponent in sport. There is also product liability where the manufacturer \nof the sports product may be held accountable if the gear which they \nprovide leads to injury.
