Member of Parliament for Sekondi constituency, Andrew Kofi Agyapa \nMercer revealed this on Asempa FM\u2019s Ekosii Sen programme Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The deceased, Ahmed Hussein-Suale was shot and killed by two \nassassins as he left his family house ostensibly to go take care of his \nsick child Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many have linked his demise to role played by Member of Parliament for Assin Central Kennedy Agyapong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The outspoken MP was said to have splashed pictures of Ahmed on \ntelevision and on many social media platforms after the premiere of \nNumber 12 documentary which exposed the rot in Ghana\u2019s football.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Minority in Parliament is calling for Mr. Agyapong\u2019s arrest for \nwhat they say was his role in the killing of Ahmed Hussein-Suale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But speaking on Ekosii Sen, Hon Agyapa Mercer described as premature the call by the Minority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said the police will not be stampeded to jump the gun when the perpetrators are on the run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sekondi MP disclosed that some interested parties in the case who\n declined police invitation claiming to be outside the country were \nactually in Ghana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSome people told the police they had travelled when in fact they were in Ghana. Do you think the police are joking? He quizzed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hon Agyapa Mercer said the police knowing the interest of the \ninternational community in the matter will work assiduously until the \nperpetrators are brought to book.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEven the people who committed the crime have been identified and I\u2019m more than definite that the police will get to the bottom of the matter\u201d he opined.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ahmed Hussein-Suale a key member of the Tiger Eye PI team has since been buried.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n
