The\n Western Regional Police Command has revealed that the suspected \nkidnapper was an acquaintance to all three girls who are now his \nvictims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\n region\u2019s Police Commander, Vincent Dedzoe, said at a news conference \nWednesday, all three victims were in \u201cconstant communication\u201d with the \nsuspected kidnapper via mobile phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\n Police\u2019s press conference comes following wide media attention on the \nkidnapping of three girls dating back to August 17, 2018 starting with \nPriscilla Blessing Bentum in the Effia-Kwesimintsim municipality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, Ruth Love Quayson would go missing on December 4, 2018 while 15-yr old Priscilla Koranchie was kidnapped on December 21, 2018 at Nkroful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The suspect, 28-year old Nigerian Samuel Udoterg Willison has refused to talk, police say. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is already standing trial for escaping lawful custody, causing unlawful damage and resisting arrest after he escaped Takoradi police cell <\/a>on December 30, 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recaptured January 10, 2019 in an abandoned building, through the \u201cintensity of police processes<\/a>,\u201d\u00a0a dress and head gear of one of the victims was found. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Police commander said they have a \u201cstrong belief\u201d that the clothings found connects the Nigerian to the crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All\n efforts to find the girls have failed because the re-arrested suspect \ndirected police into dead-ends, the commander revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Western Police commander Vincent Dedzoe said two of the girls were promised jobs and another was promised a mobile phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said police checks show the suspect Samuel Udoterg Willison was convicted in Nigeria for kidnapping. \u2018We are dealing with a professional\u2019 he said and urged the public to remain calm and assist the police with information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DCOP Dedzoe said the suspect has pointed to four others who played roles in the kidnapping, pointing to a syndicate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
