With the dust yet to settle on the kidnapping of three teenagers in Takoradi,<\/a> reports have emerged of another kidnapping in Tarkwa in also in the Western region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paulina\n Manu, the Headmistress of Tarkwa Senior High School has confirmed the \nkidnap of a first-year student on Wednesday to Joy News. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

According\n to the headmistress who declined to go on record, said the girl \nobtained permission to go home but she never got there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joy\n News\u2019 Western Region correspondent, Ina Thalia Quansah reports that the\n student is from the northern part of the country and living with a \nrelation in Prestea also in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hours\n after she left, she called her brother in the north demanding some \nmoney. The baffled brother questioned what she needed it for because she\n sounded frantic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She\n told him after she picked a taxi to go to Prestea, she was taken to a \nplace she did not know by unknown persons and currently in a strange \nroom. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mrs Manu told the reporter that she has reported the incident to the Tarkwa police. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Divisional Commander told Joy News\u2019 they wouldn’t call it kidnapping for now and asked to be given time to investigate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This latest incident comes at the back of the kidnapping of three teenagers whom the police say they are closing in on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
