Director-General\n of the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), DCOP Maame Tiwaa \nAddo-Danquah, has revealed a team of investigators from the U.S \nand U.K are joining the search for the three girls kidnapped last year \nin Takoradi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said Ghana solicited for the assistance from the British and American investigators in a bid to fast track the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DCOP\n Addo-Danquah made the revelation on Saturday, January 26 when she and \nan entourage from the police administration visited the families of the \nthree missing young ladies in the Western Region communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt\n is not all leads picked during the investigation that would be made \npublic,\u201d the CID boss said and urged the public to cooperate with the \npolice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She assured the families that the police are making progress with the investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DCOP\n Addo-Danquah held separate meetings with the families of the three \nkidnapped victims: Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, Priscilla Blessing \nBentum and Ruth Love Quayson. The meetings were held in their homes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She first expressed sympathy and concern from the Police Administration to the families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She assured them that the Police Administration is doing everything possible to rescue the victims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She\n further stated that the President, Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has \ninstructed the Inspector General of Police (IGP), David Asante-Apeatu, \nto prioritise the kidnapping investigations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In\n reaction, the parents of the Kidnapped victims were very grateful to \nthe Police for work done so far and urged them to do more to bring back their children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also appealed to the Police Administration to bring a clinical psychologist to assist them to overcome the trauma they are going through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the entourage of the Director-General CID were: the Regional Police Commander, DCOP Vincent\u00a0 Redeemer Dedjoe and his Second-in-Command, ACP Edmund Ohene Bosompem, Regional Crime Officer,\u00a0ACP James Amoako Acheamfour and Second-in-Command, Supt. Hussein Musah Awinaba, Staff Officer, DSP Kweku Ayepah, Regional Public Relations Officer, DSP Olivia Ewurabena Adiku, Takoradi District Police Commander, Commander Peter Ofori Donkor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
