Saturday, June 2020 has been set for the parliamentary primaries of the New Patriotic Party which will take place across the entire country in the areas where they have their seating MPs.<\/p>\n
News emerging from all angles from the respective constituencies suggest that some of the delegates names have been removed from the electoral album used by the party.
\nThese Album, according to the agitated delegates were used in electing their constituencies Executives , but the same Album turns to disfranchise some of them in this upcoming primaries which has haulted curses and warnings on the party leadership.<\/p>\n
The Delegates are of the view that the party’s leadership have intentionally removed their names and replaced them with ghost names rendering them needless in this upcoming exercise.<\/p>\n
The party leadership want the Incumbent MPs to emerge winners over the other contesting aspirants but that picture seems to be blur in the eyes and minds of the delegates as the delegates raised issues over abysmal and non performance of their MPs. Calling foot soldiers and grassroots to wake up and rescue the situation.
\nThis has gingered them to bring new faces to compete with those incumbents members of Parliament.<\/p>\n
Already about 68 of these incumbent MPs have been declared unopposed by the leadership of the party and the grassroot members are not happy about that, rendering some, invoking curses and causes confusions in the party at the local level.<\/p>\n
Not Withstanding all these agitations and confrontations by the grassroots members, the leadership seems to ignore and neglect those claims.<\/p>\n
Several constituencies within the jurisdiction of the party have been baffling with these challengess ; citing Subin, Ablekuma North, Asante Akyem North, New Juabeng Constituencies as an evidence to prove those anomalies.
\nSome of the MPs in the enclave Constituencies have also started Sharing assorted items and money to the delegates just to retain power which has generated heat in the party for the past days running down to the primaries.<\/p>\n
Respective delegates in those constituencies are not happy at all as some have started cautioning and warning the leadership as to the dangers ahead and the possibility to tear the party apart.
\nSome have even declared war and confusion for the tomorrow primaries at the polling centres as to why their names have been removed.<\/p>\n
To the delegates, if such issues are not quickly resolved it will turn into a disaster and addressing them will take ample time and months as the general Election too approaches.<\/p>\n
Resolving and healing those impasses and challenges between them will go against them , they lamented.<\/p>\n
