Chief Justice did not reject the Daboase Magistrate Court – Skyy

Dabase court

It was reported earlier this week after an inspection tour by the Chief Justice Ms. Gloria Akufo at the Daboase Magistrate Court in the Wassa East District of the Western Region, that a fully furnished building by the assembly for a court was thrashed.

The report as carried on various media platforms indicated that the Chief Justice was displeased by the structural design of the building and thus suggested the assembly turns it into a community library or other usage rather than a court complex.

Well, Skyy Media analysis taken on footage during a discussion between Ms. Akufo and the DCE for the area, Wilson Arthur during the visit says otherwise. Apparently, per the Chief Justices’ remarks on the complex, the assembly could use the facility for a period as it prepares and develop a new one that fits into standards as directed by the Judicial Service.

“As I said, you make do for the time being. At least it is not bad”, she remarked.
