ET MENSAH: Ghana Premier league not exciting

Former sports minister ET Mensah has admitted that the Ghana Premier league is not competitive and exciting anymore, the former member of  Parliament made this claim after the match day 6 games in the ongoing Ghana Premier league.

According to him there should be a lot of house cleaning at the FA if we are to go forward as a country with our league.

He said ‘ the league is not exciting anymore as it use to be, the situation where members of the FA own clubs is very negative, and something has to be done about it, during my time we had FA members who were affiliated to clubs but they didn’t own clubs and people have been complaining so I think that there is a lot of house cleaning that has to be done’.

Mr. ET Mensah is an ardent follower of sports in the country and  at the beginning of the Fourth Republic, he was appointed Minister for Youth and Sports by President Jerry Rawlings.
