100% rural telecommunication penetration

Some individuals and companies also gave testimony of the benefits derived from their use of MTN products and services. Among them was the Western Regional Minister Dr. Kwaku Afriyie who was accompanied by his Deputy Mrs Gifty Kusi, Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Chief Executive Mr. Anthony KK Sam and some top Directors from the Regional Coordinating Council.

“I am here because of evolution of technology…we are here. MTN Business fair; platform to elicit feedback

Regional Senior Manager for South West Simon Amoh told Melody Business the MTN Business Fair was to create a platform to interact with the business community to shape the way his outfit does business with them.

“Those you see here are selected, we couldn’t bring everybody in here, so once we interact with these businesses, especially SMEs, we tend to tell them the benefit of IT to their businesses. We also elicit feedback from this people. This feedback at the end of the day goes to manage and shape the way we business with this people in terms of the product and services we need to come out with to be able to meet their requirement in terms of doing business”.

3rd MTN Business Fair; so far so good

Mr Simon Amoh said the MTN Business Fair has seen improvement over the last three years that it started. He revealed that participants at the annual fair keep on increasing.

“You have seen the numbers here today yourself…something that we’ve done for three years means it has the potential to be able to impact the businesses of the people we invite here and work with”, he said.

Over fifteen companies took part in the one day fair.
