Chief Justice Commends Shama District Assembly for being proactive with rehabilitating District Court

The Chief Justice, Ms. Sophia Akuffo has commended the Shama District Assembly for being proactive with the rehabilitation of the district court complex. Ms Akuffo at a familiarization visit to the district yesterday was elated at the major rehabilitation taken on the court complex.

The court complex was given a facelift by the District Chief Executive, Joseph Amoah in his early year of office. Works taken within the rehabilitation project includes the patching of rifts in walls, repainting, ceiling, re-tooling, and expansion of the court rooms and offices for the district court. Progress of work taken so far is rated at 70 percent.

Public Relations Officer for the Assembly, Stephen Cudjoe tells Skyy News ratings received from the chief Justice is unequaled. He however noted that the assembly has been tasked to expedite work on the complex to fully complement justice delivery in the district.
