
Eff-Ess Company Limited in partnership with Global Communities on 31st January 2019 held a passing out ceremony for some youths who have under gone training in entrepreneurship in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region.

The youths between the ages of 16-22 years and drawn from various suburbs of the metropolis including Takoradi, Butumagyebu and Sekondi were afforded the free vocation training under the ‘Yiedie’ program. The program is basically to train the youths and equip them with Entrepreneurial, Financial Literacy and Life Skills.
Sekondi-Takoradi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (STCCI), Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Victor Annan pledged, that his outfit is ever ready to support and register about 20 graduates who received entrepreneurial skills from Eff-Ess with the aim of encouraging the youths to enter into entrepreneurship by the right channel. According to him, the level of entrepreneurial skills in the Western Region has declined to the extent that effort of benefiting from Oil and Gas is difficult for the indigenes and Ghana as a whole.
Mr. Anna however stated that the Chamber of Commerce will wave fees as annual dues for the fresh entrepreneurs and register them at the Registrar General’s Department at no cost with the aim of supporting in Sekondi-Takoradi.
He was happy about the collaboration of Eff-Ess Company Limited and Global Communities to boost the morale of the Ghanaian youths to get into entrepreneurship.

The One Hundred and Seventy-one (171) graduants had the opportunity to be lectured on Savings, Expenditure, Investment, Banking, Business Planning, Setting up Business Management, Decision Modules, Professionalism at Work, Conflict Management and many more.
They expressed their gratitude to Eff-Ess Company Limited and Global Communities.
