Westline Entertainment, organizers of the Western Music Awards has unveiled Maame Esi Senyiwa and Kaygee as the main hosts for the 2019 edition of the awards sponsored by Rigworld Training Centre (RTC).

More than 1,200 patrons are expected to attend the third edition at the Best Western Plus Atlantic Hotel on Saturday 11thMay, 2019. “Being the third edition and as always guided by the tagline of the year, the organizers settled on Ace Broadcasters Maame Esi Senyiwa and Kofi Gyetsua Ankuma (Kaygee) as the hosts for this year” Nana Kwesi Coomson, Public and Media Relations Officer for the awards said.

With the red carpet starting at 6:30 pm, the main hosts of the awards will take over from the red carpet host Macall Mensah at 7:30 pm.

Both hosts Maame Esi Senyiwa and Kaygee have wealth of experience in hosting events of this magnitude as they have hosted several events with similar target audience as the well-attended Western Music Awards.

With the tag line for this year’s edition of the awards ‘The Best Comes From The West,’ the official hashtags for this year’s RTC Western Music Awards are #RTCWMA19 #TheBestComesFromTheWest

About Kagyee

Kofi Gyetsua Ankuma popularly known as Kaygee is a  well-known personality within the Corporate World and Media Space in Western Region and beyond. A Media Practitioner for more than two decades of active practice, he is  one of the Pioneers of the first Privately Owned Media House in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis, Skyy Media Group (Skyy Power fm and Skyy TV)

Kaygee is the only Media Personality from the Western Region to have ever hosted the Miss Ghana Beauty Pageant and National Dance Championship in the late 90s amongst several showbiz events.

He’s been involved as a Master of Ceremonies and Events Manager for several Corporate events in recent times in and out of the Western Region and loves to listen to indigenous Highlife music and great jazz pieces.

He is a great fan of the late Highlife superstar CK MAN and the late father of South African jazz and great Trumpeter, Hugh Masakela.

Currently, the host of one of the most educative and thought-provoking news analysis and current affairs program on Radio (Silver Pot) on Radio Silver in Sekondi on Sundays 12:30pm – 4:00pm.

About Maame Esi Senyiwa

Maame Esi Senyiwa born Francisca Mensah Baidoo is a broadcaster since 2012. She had her Primary and Junior High Education at the St. Peter’s Catholic School and the Church of Christ Junior High respectively. She had her Secondary School Education at Mfantsiman Girls Secondary School then proceeded to Ghana Institute of Journalism.

Maame Esi Senyiwah has worked with Paragon 99.9 FM on the starter show and with radio Maxx as a broadcaster and Programmes Manager.
She is a wife, mother of three beautiful children and is currently also the Principal of LoveNest Christian School.

Maame Esi loves cooking and making her home; she is an avid reader and a JESUS lover.
