Menzgold Directors Wanted By Police For Defrauding By False Pretense

An Accra Circuit Court has issued an order for the immediate arrest of all Directors of Menzgold Ghana, MyNewsGh.com can authoritatively report.

The warrant to arrest which was signed and issued to the police this afternoon in respect of four main directors of Menzgold had warrant number 01/19, 02/19,03/19 and 04/19, requiring the police to locate and arrest immediately four persons; Nana Appiah Mensah, Rose Tetteh, Benedicta Appiah, and Abigail Mensah wherever they are.

The other three whose names appeared on the warrant document were listed on the registration documents of Menzgold Ghana as Directors and are also relatives of Nana Appiah Mensah who is the main architect of Menzgold. Rose Tetteh is his wife while Benedicta Appiah is his younger sister and Abigail Mensah also his younger sister.

The court warrant documents intercepted by MyNewsGh.com stated their offense as “Defrauding by false pretense contrary to section 131 of 29/60” for which reason they were wanted.

The warrant further stated “You are hereby ordered in the name of the President forthwith to apprehend the said Nana Appiah Mensah and produce him before court”.

MyNewsGh.com’s source inside the Ghana Immigration Service have revealed they have been ordered to be on the lookout for any of these persons at all the entry and exit points of Ghana. While it is believed that Nana Appiah Mensah managed to escape from bail to South Africa with his wife Rose Tettehwho has now been declared wanted by virtue of she being a director of the company, the other two Directors are believed to be in Ghana and preparing to disappear too.

Benedicta Appiah, according to immigration details MyNewsGh.com intercepted was born on 27th May 1992 while her sister Abigail Mensah was on born on 24th April 1987. The immigration are on high alert.

For the avoidance of doubt, the warrant for the arrests of top directors, not the managment of Menzgold.

Managers

Staff of collapsed gold trade hub, Menzgold last year exposed the hidden faces behind the embattled company and revealed that there are moves by these individuals to sell off their assets and secretly leave the country in view of the current state of the company. Hitherto latest developments, it has been only Nana Appiah Mensah (NAM 1), whose face and identity has been in the public domain although he was not in charge of managing the franchise.

A release issued and signed by the aggrieved staff, corroborate earlier reports by MyNewsGh.com that a 13-member senior management were running the affairs of the company before it went into crises.

It names them as, Nana Yaw Offei -Corporate Manager, Mr. Elisha Owusu -Head of Bullion Shipment, Mrs. Abigail Mensah -Operations and Supervision Team Head, Mr. Isaac Wilson-Operations and Supervision Team Member, Mr. Justice Akoto -Operations and Supervision Team Member, Mr. Isaac Otseng -Operations and Supervision Team Member, Miss Sefiatu Abdulla -Operations and Supervision Team Member, Mr. Enoch Kwesi Agyemang -Operations and Supervision Team Member , Mr. Shadrack Fordjour -Marketing Manager, Mr. Patrick Pamfol -Operations and Supervision Team Member , Miss Belinda Nsiako -Operations and Supervision Team Member , Nana Kwame Adjei Nti -Marketing Manager and Clive Ofosuhene -IT Manager.
