Top Manager of Ghana Ports tortured and murdered after Senior Staff Party

A top manager of the Ghana Ports and Harbours who is also the Marketing and Public Affairs Manager, Josephine Asante has been murdered in cold blood, MyNewsGh.com has confirmed.

News of her murder follows one that was carried out on a top Manager of Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL), two weeks ago.

He was shot dead by unknown assailants in Gbangu in the East Mamprusi District of the Northern Region, as MyNewsGh.com exclusively reported.

Joseph Miigaai Jakperuk who is Deputy Distribution Manager of Accra East Region of GWCL was traveling to his hometown in the Bunkpurugu District when he was stopped by the hoodlums in the night who after barricading the road with pieces of wood, pulled him out of his cross country vehicle and shot him.

Josephine Asante of Tema Ports was however trailed by her murderers into her home at Community 25 in Tema where they somehow had access to her bedroom and murdered her with a knife. MyNewsGh.com cannot confirm the number of people who committed the act.

The incident occurred on Saturday midnight when the top Ports Manager had returned from a Senior Staff Party of the Ghana Ports. Her blood-bathed body was however found this morning as murderers had locked her inside the bedroom and threw the key into the main compound and bolted unseen, MyNewsGh.com was told.

Her children broke down the door to find her dead in a pool of blood after they were unable to reach her in the morning.

The incident has been reported to Police who have taken custody of the body for investigation.
