The fear, panic and apprehension that have gripped residents of the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis is exacerbating following the gruesome murder of a JHS pupil

Eugene Kweku Gyamerah, 17 and a Pupil of Bishop Assuah Memorial JHS in Takoradi was reported missing on Tuesday

Report was made by the family to the police on Wednesday only for his lifeless body to be found lying at Monkey Hill, a popular reserved forest in Takoradi in the early hours of Friday, January 25, 2019

Eugene who has been described by relatives and neighbours as very calm and respectful is a grandson of Mr Gyamerah, a popular contractor in the Sekondi/Takoradi Metropolis who was also killed under mysterious circumstances about twenty years ago at Effiakuma New Site

The body has since been deposited at the Effia Nkwanta Hospital Morgue for autopsy

The sprawling oil city is still looking for three girls kidnapped by a Nigeriaian suspect who as refused to cooperate with the police to find the whereabouts of the girls. The police are already under pressure due to a #BringBackOurTaadiGirls campaign on social media.
