Amenfi West MP unhappy with Akufo Addo appointments…

Member of Parliament (MP) for Wassa Amenfi West Constituency in the Western Region Hon. Eric Afful, has expressed his unhappiness about his Excellency the President of the republic of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa
Akuffo Addo’s ministerial appointment.

He made his frustration known after Nana Addo on Tuesday appointed the first 13 ministers without including any nominee from the Western region. According to Eric Afful, the situation is unfair because the first list are the major ones which make up 80% of cabinet positions.

He further lament that this appointment “when you look at a ministerial position like national security, trade, finance, food and agriculture, energy, defence, interior, attorney general, foreign affairs local government, education, health without any nominee from the Western region it is serious and we need to sit up and talk about it”.

He revealed in an interview with Richmond Antwi Bosiako on “Yesuadie” morning show at Royal FM at Asankragua that as he has been appointed as a member of the business committee in Parliament and also the secretary for the Western Region caucus, he has the responsibility to fight for development in the Western Region.
