Physicians & Surgeons donate to Tarkwa Municipal Hospital

The Ghana Physicians and Surgeons Foundation USA has donated drugs worth more than 220.000 dollars to Tarkwa Municipal Hospital. The gesture forms part of measures to improve health delivery in the municipality.

Making the presentation, the Vice President for the foundation, Dr. Theodora Fynn explained that a group by name Americure USA donated the drugs to them.

Receiving the drugs on behalf of the hospital, the Municipal Health Director, Mr Emmanuel Affelkum commended them for their kind gesture.

He also handed the drugs to the Medical Superintendent of the hospital Dr Frederick Yaw Sarpong.
