YALI Alumni

World environment day is celebrated on the 5th of June every year. It’s a day set aside by the UN to create awareness on the environment and since it’s inception has been the principal day for celebrating environmental issues and awareness.

This year, YALI Alumni led by Henry Bondzie and other partners including World Merit, GLOPA took the celebration to Bawjiase senior high school. There was a sensitization on the environment which basically centered on Air Pollution which was also the theme for this year and also on the SDGs
The team after the sensitization also led the school and the staff to plant about 100 seedlings on the campus.
