German football insider Christian Falk has some interesting notes on what happened, including some shocking revelations about how the mooted move for Cristiano Ronaldo played into the sacking of Thomas Tuchel.

Chelsea owner Todd Boehly was keen, and Thomas Tuchel was not.
According to Falk, as corroborated by some of the other reports, Tuchel was scared that the Portuguese would “destroy the spirit” in his dressing room, while Boehly was thinking about the commercial impact.
This was apparently “one reason for the bad relationship” between the two parties.
Many hope this isn’t a sign of things to come with this ownership, who are hardly charming themselves to the Chelsea fans currently.
Why Chelsea sacked Thomas Tuchel
Chelsea announced that they had parted company with head coach Thomas Tuchel. This came after the defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League, but it looks like a decision was made before.
The new owners had concerns over the football being played under Thomas Tuchel. There was relationship breakdowns and communication issues between Tuchel and the players, and Tuchel and the owners.
Players were considering their futures and were unhappy playing for Tuchel. Tuchel’s energy itself seemed to change and he was considering walking out as well.
There is a lot more reasons making runs and turns out it was a collective thing with many issues going on at the club under Thomas Tuchel.
Meanwhile, some believe that there is more to Tuchel’s sacking than just lack of performance. He has played only 6 games in the EPL and Chelsea are 6th on the league table; only 5 points behind leaders Arsenal.
Some Chelsea fans are also at a lost thinking of the Aubameyang factor. It is believed he was brought into Chelsea this season to reunite with Tuchel, who he worked with at Dortmund some few years back.
So why fire the coach just a few days after his arrival; there is something more to the sacking.
